This would be the first bald Romulan bad guy Shinzon was in no way Romulan, not even Romulan customs since he was raised by the actual "villains" the heretofore never talked about Remans.

Saw him on Craig Ferguson's show, the bald look looks good on him, didn't look unnatural at all.

Who knows if Nero will be bald. Maybe they're (JJ & company) just trying to throw us for a loop. Maybe they thought the Romulan wig would fit better on a bald head (but I doubt it). Maybe Bana had lice. Who knows? All I care about is that Bana plays a convincing Romulan (whatever his hair looks like).

You know, when I first heard this, my thoughts barely skimmed the canon debate; they immediately jumped to the superficial thought,
There are two different types of bald:
1) Nat Portman/Patrick Stewart bald, and
2) Britney Spears bald.
Upon researching which category Eric Bana falls into, I immediately emitted a sigh of relief. He doesn't look like an abused potato, after all.

I admit his being bald may be some reason for concern.
If they put standups of him in the theater lobby's then I suppose it's possible some people walking by who remember Shinzon in an unkindly way could make an unfair & false connection thus biasing their opinions in a negative way.
Then there are bald people who may be getting tired of the bald=bad stereotype.
Having him sporting the traditional Moe might have been a better idea but I'm *lies* not going to worry about it.
