So we're having a big trivia event here in Japan (specifically for English-speaking teachers in this prefecture) and I've been asked to pull together a diverse set of questions (easy to intermediate difficulty) across a range of the vast "nerd knowledge" category. Here are some of the areas I want to hit:

The two categories I am really weak in is Modern Gaming and Comics (and ironically Anime).... I don't really play video games and I wasn't big on comics growing up. If you have thoughts there, that'd be sweet. Preferable the kind of questions where a lamen could make a kind of half-cocked guess and still have fun playing. For instance, once question I wrote:

Other than the last question, I'm sadly not familiar with games that are popular in Japan, such as Final Fantasy and the like, so can't help you with that (I assume some (most) of the contesters are Japanese).

The problem is that all of those gaming questions are for Western Games, so those would probably be very difficult for the average Japanese person to answer. What with Western games about as popular as Nemesis over there. Anyway, this sounds fun. I'll try to come with a few questions for you.
