If I had to take a guess, it would be Neil Gaiman's support of the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund's effort to raise money for the alleged manga porn maven who was arrested in Canada a month or so back, in pursuance of Canada's insane expression-destroying laws (which, sadly, do have analogues in the U.S.C.). Gaiman is signing and selling his own T-shirts for $50 apiece, which seems like one of the grodier possible ways to raise funds. "If I give you $60, can I have a shirt that hasn't been used?"how is neil giaman ickey?
