Neelix's Ship

No.

When I was in the Navy we had a saying for things that just didn't seem to fit properly, "It's in the script." That was the answer we used when we couldn't come up with a good reason why something happened, or was, or whatever. So, it's in the script. :D

^^
Well, I do understand why Odo shakes his head in the avatar above!

Maybe they did tore down the wall between shuttle bay 1 and 2?

I can't remember if Neelix's shuttle was seen in some more episode after "The Chute" so maybe they used parts from it it to build the Delta Flyer and those other shuttles.

It was in Homestead, so they lugged that Behemoth around for seven years...

Why the hell did they build the DF? They'd have been better off using the Baxial!

I don't think the writers of the Episode Tuvix thought that his ship was in the hanger bay since the oddcouple claimed that running away was far too hard to bother with...

The Baxial and Delta Flyer must have taken up almost all of the shuttlebay space, which is probably why we didn't see many other shuttles launched after the Flyer was built. Why the writers didn't just use the damn aerowing I shall never understand. :brickwall:

I still like my idea about disassembling shuttles as far down as possible, and feeding the materials into the replicator through a cross-linked transporter platform in the cargo bay. Then, store the hard-to-replicate parts in the cargo bay.

I like the explanation from Star Trek: The Magazine that by the time the Delta Flyer was needed it was pretty much a shell because it'd been gutted for equipment.

^ Made more sense to me that Voyager had never had an AeroShuttle, just a piece of Ballast as a place-holder because the ship was launched early...

Works for me.

The sucky part is that instead of using it like I think they should've, we now have to find justifications for why they didn't use it.
