Needs of the Many excerpt in Star Trek Magazine 24

It seems to have already arrived with subscribers, but Star Trek Magazine 24 officially goes on sale on Tuesday 9th in the States, and about 3 weeks later in the UK.

This month it's got a lot for TrekLit fans. It's effectively two mags for the price of one - a Klingon special, and a Star Trek Online focus. The Klingon half includes features by Wardilmore, KRAD, William Leisner and Lonemagpie David McIntee, many of which reference John M. Ford's seminal novel The Final Reflection, as well as a rather different take on a classic Trek episode courtesy of Twitter subscriber OneCoolTribble...

The second half, written by Marco Palmieri, is a major look behind the scenes at Star Trek Online, with a load of imagery not seen elsewhere. There's an illustrated version of the Path to 2409, and an excerpt from Mike Martin's The Needs of the Many, a very different Star Trek novel which I'll be very interested to see the reaction to on this board when it's released!

Add reviews of the latest IDW comics, The Sorrows of Empire and Inception, and hopefully there's something there for everyone!

Marco's actually been on board for over a year and I hope he's with us for a long time to come!

I got this and flipped through it yesterday. I'm a big Klingon fan, so I know I'm really gonna enjoy this issue. Although my computer is too old for STO so reading about it is gonna be painful.

Rant deleted.

The worst thing about moving to the US is the subscription problem. Galleon seems to be holding on my UK subscription without sending the magazines to my parents in the UK or to me in TX, and I can't afford the US subscription at the moment, not until I know all the bills are paid.

I'm looking forward to reading them when I get the chance.
