Need some suggestions...

I have a Sci-Fi podcast show that I use on Blab. I've had to take a bit of a hiatus, but am ready to resume, and need some suggestions for topics that could be discussed on both Star Trek and Science Fiction in general. Any suggestions would be welcome!

Talk about people who should've guest starred in STAR TREK ... and didn't. Personally, I would've loved to have seen Selma Blair star in VOYAGER, lets say, or even ENTERPRISE. She was such an achingly beautiful woman, when her rose was in bloom -- talented, as well. Even as a cougar on Anger Management, she was well-preserved and easy on the eyes! But she never graced STAR TREK with her presence, much to the franchise's loss, I would say ...

Talk about scifi that isn't dark or pew-pew (everything else), and why we rarely see it.

Fans say they want to see this side by side with the dark and violent stuff, but the folk who produce the content won't put out. Interstellar cranked out good boxoffice numbers, and there are a few other examples, but not many.

Is the blame on the the audience? Who say they really want one thing, but watch another?

Speaking of people I would have loved to of seen on Star Trek, Lucy Ball, the fairy-godmother of the show. Personally, would have loved to of seen her as one of the judges in Court Martial, less her usual heavy make-up. A senior admiral of course.

A discussion on the pioneers of sci-fi, including books and old sci-fi movies and how they've influenced the current crop of sci-fi.

An episode focusing on Forrest J. Ackerman and his influence. He did coin the term "sci-fi", as well as launched the careers of folks like Ray Bradbury. His collection of sci-fi, horror memorabilia was unparalleled.
And he was a Hell of a nice guy.
