Need Help finding a movie

[Sephiroth]

And before you ask, no it isn't an indie film, it's an early 90's summer suspense/horror film that has somehow gone down the rabbit hole of movie history.

the movie is basically, a salvage crew finds a cruise liner who has had its passengers and crew eaten by this monster, as they try to figure out what happened, they see and chase these small "things" wandering around the ship, well, in the end they realize that they are the tentacles of this monster thats about the size of the cruise liner itself, and in the very end the remaining salvage crew winds up in a deserted island, and the camera pans back to show that the island is covered in more of these HUGE creatures.

if anyone can help me find this film i'd be most appreciateive.

Was it Leviathan? Doesn't sound like The Abyss, which came out at around the same time.

Definitely not Leviathan but that's as much help as I can give. Deep Rising sounds close.

actually, I have checked every hastings, FYE, and independant DVD store in Albuquerque, if THEY don't have it...
