need Darth Vader pics

I know it sounds kind of odd but I'm working on a model kit of Darth Vader and I can't find any decent pics of his armor from Episode 4: A New Hope, specifically his instrument panel and his chest/shoulder armor plating.

Well I'd suggest putting the DVD in the computer, use the VLC player. It has a snapshot feature!

You might try checking out the Replica Prop Forum. Great stuff there.

Downside: they have an idiotic policy of not allowing registration except during certain unannounced times, so joining it requires you to happen to hit the board during one of the rare periods they're accepting registrations. Stupid.

I'd recommend seeing what the 501st have. They are best known for their Stormtroopers, but they have a good number of Vaders. They should have all the details you'd ever need.

We have a BSG forum and a Dr. Who forum and everyone knows Star Trek is to Dr. Who as Star Wars is to Battlestar Galactica.

We have a BSG forum and a Dr. Who forum and everyone knows Star Trek is to Dr. Who as Star Wars is to Battlestar Galactica.

At times, we have had a forum for SW. It's all about the posts, though. There simply isn't enough interest at this time to justify a forum just for SW. When there are only 2-3 posts running at a time about a subject, it's better to keep it in the SF forum.

The same question is asked of fans of the Trek Animated series, and of B5, and of Alien/Predator movies, etc., but the answer is the same ... Not enough interest. That's certainly doesn't mean you shouldn't post here. You might find other fans, ya never know.
