So, I don't keep track of SF literature at all since... well, reading is work for me now (oh, the joys of being a grad student) and I tend to avoid it unless I have to. But I just heard it mentioned on a tech podcast of all places and I'm just wondering if anyone has had a chance to read it?
From the description, it looks like more of a return to his older work... but after Crytonomicon and the Baroque Cycle, I almost wished that he was still doing "realistic" science "faction" (or whatever the term is now
