I guess the JAG-NCIS episode didn't really seem that good either. It's just that all the Frog stuff from last season's NCIS was pretty boring, so I'm not sure I'd want to see that every episode for 26 episodes... set in LA of all places.

In part one, O'Donnell's character is the only one who had any character. The director's entire characterization so far is just that she has a bad history with Gibbs.

At least with this CBS spinoff, we don't have the star going:

"Has my deep cover been blown... (puts on sunglasses) ...or am I too deep?"

YYYYYEEEEEEEAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!

Hey! Don't be dissin' Horatio! Miami is the only CSI I'm not mind-numbingly bored with. I mean, I'm bored...but not yet mind-numbingly board. So thumbs up to CSI: Miami. :p

But anyway, back to NCIS, which is clearly a far superior show to ANY CSI show in any event....

I guess you are right about the director. But my feeling? If Gibbs doesn't like her, why should we?

Execellent setup for whatever is going to hit the fan next week...
I suspect Chris O'D. is actually playing The Bad Guy.

I doubt that Chris is since he is going to be in the spin-off as part of the team as I understand. Just don't see them doing that.

Oh, I didn't know that. I just noticed that the camera was on him when they were talking about people whose false identities are so good they're indistinguishable from legitimate ones.

From what I've read, Callen (O'Donnell's character) is supposed to be so good at falling into his cover that he becomes one of those "legend" dealios that the psych guy was talking about.

OT: I was just thinking about the episode where they're investigating a crime at a Halloween Party and one of the partygoers teases them that they spelled CSI wrong.

I'm a bit late to the party this week.

Anyways, awesome episode!! :bolian:

Between the normal NCIS hotness that is Mark Harmon and Michael Weatherly, LL Cool J and his hunky self just about made me faint. After the hormones calmed down a bit...loved the episode! I loved McGee practically being aroused at the equipment that the LA office had.:lol:

And Tony is such a typical frat boy type of guy, he barely notices Ziva until he thinks that she's seeing somebody. I wonder how all of that is gonna turn out. I mean, that Michael guy seems bad right now, but he may not be.

Oh and I couldn't STAND that Louise Lombard when she was on CSI, now I have to see her on NCIS too? Ugh. Admittedly, she wasn't as irritating on this as she always was on CSI. I'll at least give her a bit of a chance.

You can't hate the director of NCIS:LA:OSP on CBS with LL Cool J! She's the one female of high authority that HASN'T SLEPT with Gibbs! :P

Everyone should give it time. Even in the JAG episodes that introduced NCIS, it took a while (even into the show's run) for things to develop into the version of the show that everyone now knows and loves.

I had to share this one...

I'm a big Abby fan (mmmmm.... Abby.....) and spotted our darling PP on an episode of Frazier as a Cafe Nervosa waitress Niles tries to hit on (failing badly).

In the credits she was listed as "Pauley P. as Waitress" -- that's different. ;)

I enjoyed it. This is also the episode that's supposed to be the segway into the new spinoff of NCIS in the works.

She was also on a Sci-Fi show for a while too. I think it was Special Unit 2...
