NATURAL LAW?

I remember that when this episode came out folks disliked it...

Seeing it again, I think it's a decent, very TOSey episode with a wonderful guest star performance by the actress playing the young Ventu girl.

Indeed, I enjoy it much more than several of the episodes from the late season 7--Q2, Friendship One, Renaissance Man...

Anyone seen this one again recently? The subplot with Tom is silly but at least it gives him a chance to shine at the end.

That's the one where Chakotay and Seven are stuck under the bubble? I thought it was an all right episode. Chakotay was a little over the top. I actually enjoyed the Tom stuff -- a little taste of bureaucracy, right there in the sort of lawless DQ. It must have felt like home.

I liked that silly subplot. It made us realize that for people warping around the cosmos, they still have to deal with the everyday/mundane aspects of life.

It was so close to the end, when they could have been setting up the end, and they didn't. This episode could have been aired at any point in the last four years and you'd never notice the difference to continuity.

Although, I like to think that this is the episode where they started kissing and hugging, first to keep warm and then because it's fun, although no one actor, writer or producer knew these two were going to be an item yet for such a set up to take place.

Sad, no?

QFT.

I agree with Guy. What he says makes sense. Yes, I'm scared too.

Time for a gin & tonic I think...
