I didn't see any "other shuttle concepts" at up-ship. You might want to check astronautix.com. They have some pretty good articles on shuttle development.

The Haynes manual for the Enterprise was a bit more than disappointing. I think I'll sick with one of THESE.

What role did you play in making it, Squiggy?

I got a good giggle in some parts, like when Shatner talks about how the "impassioned fans of a particular long-cancelled television series called... Star Trek" wanted the first orbiter renamed from Constitution to "something else", as if he wasn't all that familiar with the series in question.
