In this article regarding a gargantuan black hole NASA states that even if our own Sun collapsed into a black hole that the Earth would not be consumed and that we would still orbit the black hole because the gravity generated by the black hole would be the same as when the black hole was still a sun.
"If a black hole with the same mass as the sun were to replace the sun, Earth would not fall in. The black hole with the same mass as the sun would keep the same gravity as the sun. The planets would still orbit the black hole as they orbit the sun now," according to NASA.
