In his first episode, when he met Soji, he mentioned he had a brother. Maybe something happened to him.

I don't think we can really take anything Narek says at face value.

For all we know, he only said that so Soji would buy his sob story.

While I can't wait to see Narissa get the death she deserves, I think Narek is capable of redeeming himself. Isn't there a promo pic with him on La Sirena?
