Nana Visitor in Friday the 13th sequal?

Just read over at aicn that Nana is going to play mama vorhees
in the Friday the 13th remake. Actually I think she is perfect casting
for that role. She said she had her head casted which you know what
that means . I don't know if I can watch that part.

Since she's playing the mother in a remake of the first one, does that make her the star killer?

This could be interesting! It's a re-make, so there will probably be changes to the story. Most people, who aren't F-13 fans, don't realize that Pamela Voorhees was the killer in the original film. Everyone knows that Jason killed hundreds of people in the movies, but they forget that his momma started the killing spree. I wonder if Nana can play psychopath as well as Betsy Palmer did in the original?
