Name the Captains' kids!

Troi and Beverly are pregnant with Riker and Picard’s kids. Their spawning of two new space adventurers is only a few novels away. As terrifying a prospect as Beverly as a mother and Riker as a father are we must look ahead to what the kids will be called, and if we can, influence the writer’s naming decisions with our awesome naming powers.
So let’s pick what we think the kids should be named, and what we think they’ll actually be called.
Also, I haven’t read the post-Destiny books yet, so if they’ve already decided on names I’ve missed it.
Also also: Can’t remember if we’ve been told if they’re having boys or girls. Either way, in the future anyone can be called anything, right? ;-)

My pick for the name of the Riker/Troi baby is: Richard Robau Riker.
It’ll probably be named Jean-Luc. Or Kyle.
UPDATE: The kid is named in 'Over A Torrent Sea'. Mine was better.

My pick for the Picard/Beverly baby is: Second Shinzon PiCrusher.
It’ll probably be called Jack. Or Rene.

C’mon people! Name these young ones who will soon learn the meaning of the phrase “You can’t pick your parents”

Her name is Tasha

And I wouldn't be too surprised, if were going to find out more about Picard junior in "Losing the Peace"

Damn. That's what i get for bieng behind with new books...
But we can still pick names for the Picard/Beverly kid!

(and Richard Robau Riker is way better than the name they chose. Even for a girl.)

But I guess it will be neither Jack or Rene/Robert. Would be a bit obvious... but then again, so was Tasha... (not meant in a negative way, BTW)

Picard and Crusher will choose the same name for their child as the Rikers did. Losing the Peace is really about the battle between the Enterprise and the Titan over baby naming rights.

I'm a little dissapointed with Tasha. Naming the long-sought-after first child after a dead coworker that they only knew for less than a year, and nearly twenty years ago at that, after all that Troi and Riker went through to have her? No nod to Riker's mother, or Lwaxana Troi? C'mon, people.

I'd have been satisified with Erika, after Captain Hernandez, without whom all would have been lost...

Now, I can see Jack in the Picard's kid's name, to honor his old friend and her former husband, but as a middle name. Picard will select a Ffrench first name, I predict.

Yeah I'm not too happy with Tasha being the name of the Rikers first child either.

If I remember right, Chris had a cat called Tasha and it died at somepoint in the writing process for Over a Torrent Sea so it's a reference to that.
