You nailed it!!! I guess I was hoping that the general antipathy I see expressed for the episode would cloud people's memories of snippets of dialogue. On to you for the next one, LeadHead!!!!

Somewhat surprised that there hasn't been even a single guess yet. At first and second glance it seemed unfamiliar to me as well, so I suspected it's from either TNG or DS9. I know a select number of episodes from both, especially those with a rather special guest performer. After much head scratching and contemplation, I believe I have the right answer. It's TNG's Sarek, with O'Brien about to get into some unpleasantries with some other crew members over, uh, accommodations at Ten Forward.

OK, this one combines two lines, with only a portion of the first one shown. I think it will be figured out pretty quickly anyway, but I'll give this as a kind of clue: if the first line were completely revealed, I would expect it to be solved within the hour or thereabouts.

I'm really surprised. Nary a single guess? Someone please advise me if I need to add something to the clue that I offered from the get go, something I think unprecedented for me to do. I suppose I can think of something else without giving the gig away too easily, but then again that's what I thought I did over 3 days ago!!!!
