Are the "lines", IE the "look" of JJ's ' Prise cool with y'all?

For me, they are WAY different than TOS. But that's not a bad thing IMO. Classic is great; retro classic is too.

Just don't do the no-neck thing from "E", and I'm down.

As much as I disliked Excelsior in STIII, the E-E was the last design straw with me.
No separation between the hulls? Effin' blasphemy

I agree. In the storyboards for the TOS movies the ship sometimes looked deformed, like the new one.

I Imagine that If the ship ever landed on earth the nacelles would collapse because the Secondary Hull is tiny in comparison to the Bulky nacelles.
