Although they obviously wanted to have a girl in there to replace Kari I was actually half hoping they would have done some stunt casting and brought in Mike Rowe from Dirty Jobs. It would have been a hoot to watch, and Mike isn't incompetent so I could see him handling some of the investigations.
(Also, Dirty Jobs is also based out of San Francisco).
