So I figured it was worth posting in this thread to say that my water is off right now and I have no idea why.

My apartment always seems to be shutting off water, but there's usually a notice set out that's missing this time.

It's back on. I didn't mean that my unit is always shutting off. I meant that there is a lot of routine maintenance that shuts down water throughout each building (although, in retrospect, this was mostly last fall. There haven't been problems in a few months until today).
