My Updated/extended/Kitbashed Mirror Universe timeline

A while back, I was perusing a Trek website and stumbled across their version of the Mirror Universe history. I down-loaded it and decided to look through it and beef it up a bit, which is what I did. But when I read through what I had written, I hit a problem; when I read it through, it didn't feel right, so I read through it and after I had done that, I decided that I needed to more to it, which is what I did. And so with a large steaming cup of coffee, I sat and read through it and expanded it out to the 50-page document it now is. And as the title of the thread indicates, it's not a normal time-line. I updated one or two small parts and expanded a LOT of it. And now onto the kit-bashed parts, while some of it is my own work, the core of the time-line I found on a trek website in early January, along with a history of WW3. While I immensely enjoyed reading the Mirror Universe history I got from the other Trek Site, I felt that it was to short for my liking and so I decided to beef it up and to add my own parts to it. As I said before, the core of the time-line came from this trek website I found, most of what you read is what I have added to it. I wanted to try and beef it up and expand it as much as I could, but when it hit 40 pages, for some fracking reason, I couldn't think of anything else to add to it. I was going to call it a day and post the 40-page version when I decided to take a break and watch the Babylon 5 TV movie “In The Beginning” and it gave me an idea. After getting a large cup of coffee, I went to Wikipedia and found the article on the Earth-Minbari war. I read through it and borrowed a lot of it for part of the fall of the Terran Empire. And after copying, pasting and re-writing, the Earth-Minbari war part became a battle between the Terran Empire and the Alliance. At that point, I got the idea to search through my favourite Sci-Fi shows on Wikipedia and “borrow” parts of their continuity and history, like I did with the Earth-Minbari war from B5, then alter them and merge them into the timeline. At this point, I was all ready to get started with this when I decided that timeline was ok as it is. What I had taken from other sci-fi shows and written as part of this timeline, I’ve kept in a separate file, to be used in the Mirror Universe timeline Part 2. I’ll post part 1 later today. Here is the time-line, enjoy and feedback is wanted:

I agree with Christopher, this sounds like fanfiction stuff, so I'm going to move it over there.

btw, Kiomuk, it is very unlikely people will download doc files from people they don't know. I suggest convert it to a html file and host it on a free website.

:wtf:
Well yeah, that's because he basically says the same thing like 6 times, I really hope the rest of his writing isn't like this, otherwise I can understand why the document is now 50 pages long. Hopefully it's more than just one long paragraph.

Kiomuk:
Expansion on a subject is nice but so is concision and elegance.

If you do have a passion for this subject matter, I recommend you go over it again, especially the parts that you've apparently lifted from other sources and see how you can draw inspiration from the tone or techniques used in those other stories, instead of just adapting them to fit yours. See how you can refine your own style to give it a similar feel. There's a lot to be said for learning from the best, but there's nothing really interesting or beneficial (or ethical when you get down to it) in simply lifting the work of others and changing proper nouns here and there to fit into your own fiction.
