my Star Trek forum

With all due respect, the forum you are promoting seems to be a rather bad attempt to copy TrekBBS. Even the descriptions of the boards are the same, with things like "All good things come to an end... but not here." If you want there to be interest in your forum, it's going to have to be something a little more unique than that.

could people please join my forum please

There are already quite a few Star Trek Forums, the Trek BBS being only the largest. Many have been abandon for lack of traffic. May I ask why you are creating a new forum? What makes your forum a better place to post than existing forums? Is it aimed at a specific audience (e.g., for people born after 1990, or for people who only like TOS, and don't want to discuss other Trek, etc.) If you cannot answer these questions, I encourage you to instead put your energy into something which is needed and absent in the Trek community, rather than repeating work already being done.

There are, for example, a lot of existing Fan Film projects seeking help. You might consider volunteering to work on CGI for one near you. You can look at my Fan Film Production Company Map to find one, in Blog 4 of my website (which is my signature).

It would be a pity to waste your energy repeating the work others are doing when there are many creative things that you could be doing that would contribute to the Trek community.

Begging for members to join is very juvenile, how old are you?

Having created many scifi sites myself I can offer some tips.

- There are many trek sites out there, they really need to find a niche if you want it to succeed.

- Try to use a domain name rather than a generic probaords forum

They tried to offer some advice... you called names and pouted. You're not putting your best foot forward.

My first thought was similar to theirs... why would I jump to join a new Star Trek forum? I am already posting on a huge Star Trek forum.

If you want to my membership then you need to offer something that I'm not getting here (and, you know, act like an adult).
