My Ship chart.....

Pretty impressive.
I've wondered how these Trek ships relate in size to the Star Wars vessels. Anyone got a chart like that?

Just wondering but how big, both in file size and resolution, would a chart be if you included all ships in Trek to scale but showing it so that even the smallest shuttle/ship was clearly detailed, like maybe at least 50 pixels wide?

I'd try it myself but don't have the processing power which I assume may be alot.

That is really awesome jep...but you forgot something, the Kazon ships

Thier there right above the Romulan Warbird's head...all but the big carrier ship which is too big for the chart.

Is it the same size or a bigger than the romulan warbird(TNG)?

It's pretty big...(Yea I know there are debates about sizes of certain Trek ships)...

I knew when I was making this that there where some ships I couldn't put in(and still be able to post a viewable pic online)because of size..but I just had to have the Warbird. :)

Yeah, the "short length" shown here has been almost entirely discredited. I've seen larger numbers tossed around, too... but the generally accepted rule is that Galactica (not the "nuGalactica," I'm talking about the original one) is about 1200 meters in length (which is basically your value... 3936.996 feet)

Yea I know about the debates about the size of Galactica..but I only put it in a Star Trek chart as a joke..now if I do a Battlestar Galactica chart..I'll use the more accepted larger scale. :)

You work is awesome jep, only one question, where's V'ger and the Whale Probe? This chart is very cool indeed!

My only big quibble is with the Fesarius, it seems small compared to the old Enterprise. Although Spock does say offhand that it's about a mile in diameter (around the 1600 meters you make it), the ship as seen on screen is significantly larger, with each little dome being about 300 meters or so (about the size of the enterprise at least). If that's the case then some rough figures place the ship at around 6000 or 7000 meters, more closely resembling what was seen.
