My Potemkin Pictures Fanfilms Are Now In Production!

Hey guys! I don't venture into the Fan Productions forum very often but over the past ten months or so I've been collaborating with the writers and producers at Potemkin Productions in north Georgia near Atlanta to screenwrite films for their myriad series of fan productions, of which there are at least four or five different series at present. My very first script to go before the cameras - "Distant Echoes" - went into principal photography yesterday and I have at least two more episodes/films scheduled to be shot later this year with a fourth currently being completed in script form and undergoing editing. I hope to see that film go into production by early 2019 if the producers' shooting schedule can accommodate it amidst a number of other Trek projects they'll no doubt be filming.

I just wanted to share my new side job as a Star Trek fanfilm writer and filmmaker with you guys and invite you to check out Potemkin Productions' YouTube account where you can find all our many films and other productions posted over the years. You can also find us here. Some Potemkin productions have views in excess of 10,000 and the guys are featured at conventions held in the Georgia and Alabama areas where productions are screened and panels are held. I couldn't be more proud to be a part of the Potemkin Pictures family and look forward to hearing your feedback on our fine lineup of films as well as my own once they complete post-production work and debut.

Thanks, everybody! Randy's a real class act for letting me play in his sandbox and giving me a chance to get my name and my stories out there. Whether or not my films are embraced with warm hearts and open arms by the wider audience the excited and enthusiastic votes of love and approval from Randy and the guys will always matter most.

The adventure is only beginning.

Editing begins on the first film in the next couple of weeks. As of right now I haven't seen any projected release date but as soon as I learn it I'll post it in this forum.

I just watched the rough cut of "Distant Echoes." I liked it. A lot.

The actors have some good comic timing as well as strong delivery of dramatic dialogue. I can't wait for everybody to see it when it's completed and released.
