Icarus received excellent ratings by the critics in Germany, so I'd propably start with that one. Mary Higgins Clark's books are usually not bad and the one you got was on the NY Times' beststeller list. Selling well doeesn't necessarily mean being a good read but at least it means it can't be all that terrible. On the whole I'd say: read them all and judge for yourself. Not two people have the same preferences and sometimes it's fun to let oneself get surprised and maybe discover a new favourite
