My mother passed away this weekend

...it gets better as the years go by,but I took out his guitar one evening to play and had a complete shutdown after I played it I cried like a little boy...

..or like a man (and a good son, BR).

I can't say the same about my own father, sadly, who passed in '02. He may have been my father, but he was no parent and that is a HUGE distinction.

Since the thread was started last March, this seems like a good and thoughtful time to close.
