My mother is having neck surgery . . .

Mother-o-mine is going in to have neck surgery done today.
they're going to undo a previous fusion, remove 2 herniated discs and fuse 3 vertebrae
I'm sure things will go well, but it never hurts to have more people sending prayers and good thoughts along

I should know by this afternoon how the operation went

I know a lot of people who have had similar surgery and had great results. I had a herniated disk about 10 years ago - and it was exquisitely painful, may I say - but fortunately, mine was one of those that healed on its own.

she's in a ton of pain and hopped up on the good stuff, but she'll be coming home tomorrow and people from our church are going to be making meals for her the next two weeks which is outstanding
