Hey, just thought I'd offer some feedback here...

Yes, this isn't Star Trek art... yet... but it takes courage to post work like this on a public forum, so I give you kudos for that. Your work on page 2 (this page) is better in leaps and bounds to the works on the first page... you are nailing down a certain stylistic feel, that is a cross between the "WB" animated Batman, and true comic strip style characters.

As has been stated, I WOULD like to see some Star Trek-themed art, but what you have is good so far, and I hope you continue. BTW, I REALLY like your James Woods picture.

Thank you for informative and supportive feedback.

I've done it on lesser quality paper and wth a normal pencil, while invalid: it shows that a improving techique can overcome any obstacle.:p

I know what you mean my idle doodles of characters is approaching professional animated/comic book stuff. My faces and body proportions are starting to look right. I'm sitting on a lot of Akira related stuff that I'm getting round to copying (and inspired by).

I'm proud of that sketch of James Woods and my parents are impressed (while I've also done several bigger paintings that are far superior to those four half-finished POSs I've managed to post here).

The Trek can wait and does not at the moment interest me, but I've got the potential to make really cool ST related stuff and I could do movie story boards eventually.

Don't blink...

Nice, I wish I had a steady hand like that. The drape of the suit on Bond looks great, and the head in the first Bond image is a very nice angle shot.
One note, and this was brought up in another artist's thread as well, eyes should be about one eyeball spacing apart on the human face to get a more natural appearance. So when drawing just imagine a 3rd eye between the other two when you are positioning them. Also, if you don't already, you might check a few books on drawing the human form, like "Drawing the Marvel Way". They will help you get the different body parts into proportion.
