My March for Babies Walk Tomorrow!

Tomorrow I will be walking in the March for Babies in Central Connecticut in honor of my twin 3 year olds, Sam & Amelia, who were born six weeks early. As some of you may know, Sam was born with very significant and serious birth defects. Without the research and development from March for Babies, Sam would not be with us today.

The money raised supports programs in the community that help moms have healthy, full-term pregnancies. It also funds research to find answers to the problems that threaten our babies as well as providing support to families with a child/children in the NICU.

I worked in Women's Health for 22 years and I saw a lot of very sick babies pass through the NICU. A lot of them didn't make it, and there was nothing more heartbreaking than that-- but a lot of them graduated to do very well and come back to the reunions year after year. Some of them have babies of their own now. So I sent a few bucks over for you; I hope you guys raise a lot of money.
