Just found this on Graphjam:

I tried that, the judge still put me on the nonce jotter. :(
I'm sorry to hear that. I have no idea what it means, but I'm sorry to hear it.

Yes, very sorry to hear that.

It has nothing to do with MLP, but sorry to hear it, nonetheless.

The better version of that gag ends with "I heard that choir, they needed fucking".

Im sure the Pony stuff will calm down when the season ends.

Actually, the fandom grew many times it's initial size between seasons. It may happen again.
I disagree the break before this season, saw everyone on the net annoyed by Bronies, it may have picked up some new followers, but there is no where else to go annoy with Pony talk at the end of the season. You cant introduce Ponies to TrekBBS a 2nd time.

Anywhere worth invading has always been invaded.

Besides I hear there is a new care bears series coming up, maybe that will take over from My Little Pony ;)

MLP has already been greenlit for a third season, so there will be much talk and anticipation, plus the fan community is self supportive, in that it creates at least as much content as the actual show itself. It is likely the fandom will grow and become more prevalent between the second and third season, as there will be more material by which to bring in new fans of the show.

I think there might be a chance TrekBBS is at saturation.

In terms of numbers? Maybe. In terms of activity, maybe not.

Junkie121: "May I ask how it feels to know that a show you've created for little girls is obsessed over by sexually repressed manchildren? It is kind of scary."

*fyre-flye (Lauren Faust): Honestly? I feel the people who call them that are ignorant a-holes. That's how I feel. I didn't create this show for little girls, I created it for little girls and their parents -- including male parents. It only stands to reason that adult animation fans without children may like it, too. The belief that boys shouldn't be interested in girl things is the main reason there's hardly anything decent for girls in animation-- or almost any media, for that matter. It's a backwards, sexist, outdated attitude.

And he was trying so hard to look like a manly man. :rommie:

Ah, thank you for the info.

With the Season 3 run set to end around May 2013, thats still quite a while, and theres every indication that if they prove sucessful Hub will order an initial half season for 4 much as they did for 3, meaning this time 2013 it'll be up for consideration again.

I wonder if after this season if there will be a backlash against the show and the fans like what happened with Glee. Of course I don't watch the show so I don't kow it's quality, but with Glee, there was a bit of a backlash between Seasons 1 and 2, then Season 2 sucked, and now the show is trying to make a come back and it might be too late. Now maybe MLP isn't as popular as Glee was in the first season, but with the internet saturation the way it is, you never know.

^Season 2 is superior to Season 1, the odd bump and not-so-great episode you get with every TV show, but the fandom and quality of the show are increasing week by week.

That's always something to consider. We've all seen it before with fandoms, and the internet can be a big factor in that. There's always going to be a group of fans who think their show isn't staying true to it's roots. Some will rail against any perceived changes. As for myself, I'm just going to enjoy it while it lasts.

I'd honestly hate to see the MLP fandom become like the Trek fandom, fractured into so many hardline groups. The Bronies are one unified group, there aren't really any things to argue over since we all love the Ponies and the show, just depends on how long it airs and makes money. Which looking at it so far, is going to carry it into '13/'14 anyway. :D

Yay! :D
