So, what do you think? I'm loving the animation style. It's a definite departure from the show's animation, but not in a bad way. I like how everything seems just a bit more realized, more fleshed out. The cartoony elements are certainly more cartoony, but there's a real definition to the design itself, and I really dig it.

The plot, from what I've pieced together, seems straightforward enough, though the trailer obviously leaves us with a boatload of questions about what happens to Luna, Celestia, and the other Alicorns aside from Twilight. We finally get to meet the sea ponies, which will be awesome (Shoo be doo!), and it looks like, from the trailer, our characters will be their lovable selves, which is something I was not concerned about, but wanted to address.

So, what does everyone else think?

Exactly! It feels like the Equestria we've come to know and love, but more lush, more vibrant. That's something I wasn't sure they could manage, but there it is!

I saw the exotic cat "girl" and I thought, "Ohhh, yeeaaahhhh!" Then I Googled the performer's name and my reaction faded to, "...oh."

(Bit of a "Crying Game" moment there.)
