My friend has lost a lot of weight

It's called 'lollipop-head' and apparently is now a syndrome

Erm, yeah. I'll second the eye rolling. This might only be the result of me having to study figures for hours on end in my art classes, but I see nothing proportionally bizzare about any of those women.

Tough job huh?

You'd be surprised. Not all our models look like people you'd find on the front cover of Maxim. Then there's that small part where you actually have to draw them and have them not look like mutants in your drawing. :p

But her head stayed the same size, and frankly, it looks gigantic compared to her now thin frame. She actually looked better when she was fat. Her head is just absurdly huge now. I want to tell her that, but I feel like that might dampen her spirits.

I mean, good for her for losing the weight. She worked really hard to do it. But god, that head. It's distracting how big it is.

6:45 onwards... ;)

You said 6:45, but I just couldn't bring myself to skip past all the hilarity that ensued prior to that.

I miss Friends.

You know, it's been off our screens long enough (and their movie careers have sufficiently tanked) to justify a reunion episode or three...

There's been chatter about it. Especially after Sex and the City hit it huge, but seems like it's just not meant to happen.

So it's not a 'real life' art class then
You could have made a fortune arranging foreign weddings in the 'olden days' ;) 'This is the most beautiful Anne of Cleeves Sire'

I was expecting to see a post about how its very sad your friend has become anorexic, but i literally spat my drink out when i read it. :D

^ Those girls are right up you alley, huh?

Yeah, if the friend has developed healthier habits, surely that should be a good thing? It's not her fault her genes gave her a big head... unless the suggestion is that she is now dangerously under weight?

The non-proportioned head-to-body ratio is an obvious sign of an eating disorder. The gals I know that have been anorexic also have absurdly huge heads.
