BTW...the OP got me remembering: A friend of mine is married, and they're expecting a child--a daughter, to be exact.
When he said he was looking for good names, I suggested "Ezri".
He looked like he was considering it--until I revealed it was a Star Trek character. He got the joke...but his wife soon found a different name. *sigh*
I actually told the wife about it--and she actually agreed that "Ezri" is a pretty name. Unfortunately, as I said, they already had a name by then.
(BTW--actually, Python, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Ronald Reagan, and Martin Luther King Jr., were all born in February. And I was born in August.

A friend of mine won't admit it, but her parents named her Kira after... Kira.

When my son was born, I wanted to named hime GENE ROD JORDAN but my wife and family would not have any part of it.

ROD - FOR (ROD) MY BROTHER AND part of Roddenberry
JORDAN - our family's last name.
