I don't know, but I gotta do SOMETHING different - the original engines I had on there just weren't doing it for me.

(And I sure as heck don't want to do something that looks like just another dog's peener...)

I think it might be worth the try to place the connection point between the nacelle and pylon somewhat towards the forward part of the nacelles.

Like the nacelles. They remind me a little of the Armistice class.

Yes, I had actually whipped one out like that, too. I thought it looked pretty good. I had to toss a coin to choose which one to go with.

IMHO, they both work, but I think it creates a very different feeling, just moving them back a tiny bit. Must be the shift in center of balance, and the fact that it makes the ship longer.

Plus, with the nacelles moved back, there are those two long, flat surfaces facing each other without pylons in the way, so maybe there's an interaction between the nacelles.

Sure, I can see why you might want to move the nacelles more forward somehow, but...

This is as big a thrill as that time Andy Probert critiqued one of my designs!!!

Ummmm... no, I don't see any other views in the near future. Why? 2 reasons: 1.) the additional views will reveal design flaws in the top view that I missed, warping my ego & my fragile little mind, and 2.) did I mention I'm a no talent hack (?) and it's too hard of work!

I also tried a side view sketch, but I gotta tell you, a flat starship, from the side, don't look like much.

Hmm, quite different. From the front, I'm getting a Loknar kinda vibe. Looking at it from above, I had thought the nacelles would have gone straight out - kind of like the nacelles in Voyager's "down" position.

Really diggin the saucer's profile.

Seconded.... I too thought from the top that she had a flatter profile. I say keep going with this it doesn't look that bad from the front.
