My Cardboard Refit Enterprise Bridge - 4.5 Inch Figure Scale

Hey guys! You might remember a year ago I made a papercraft TMP Enterprise bridge with cartoony paper crewmembers. I'm taking it up a notch: this thread will chronicle my attempt to build a Playmates Star Trek figure scale TMP Era Enterprise Bridge out of cardboard! So far, I only have one half of the full bridge wall complete, and I decided to start with the environmental, engineering, science, and communications consoles first, as well as the two turbolift doors. No chairs, helm or nav stations, or railings are in place, and the ceiling is just a hole right now. But I ordered the complete TMP Playmates crew off Amazon tonight (sadly just Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Uhura and Sulu - No Chekov or Scotty!) and I'm planning to eventually build the full bridge complete with chairs and railings. I'm dreading Chekov's tactical station, but before I get to that point I want this half of the bridge to be fully finished, so I'm gonna try not to get too far ahead of myself! Here's the picks of what I have so far, with my trusty Captain Picard figure for reference to scale.

UPDATE: It's feeling a little less empty on the bridge today! My first TMP bridge crew member arrived in the mail today (Lt. Sulu!) and so I decided it was time to construct the helm and navigation console. Due to the nature of the Playmates action figures, their legs don't bend normally, so they always look like they are lounging around. Fortunately, since I'm working with cardboard this isn't too much of an issue, but I'm seriously considering making only chairs for Kirk, Sulu, and whoever ends up flying navigation (I can hear Bones already: Dammit Jim, I'm a doctor not a navigator! :D ). So far, so good.

UPDATE: Most of the bridge crew (sans Doctor McCoy) have arrived! I'm not sure the command chair will be permanent, as I'm not quite happy with the color (it's supposed to be a dark navy blue) so it may end up repurposed to Spock's console if there's room. Uhura is taking over for Ilia as navigator (I may get a custom Chief DeFalco later, if there are any ebay customizers that make her) and Spock still doesn't have a chair or the side consoles for his station, but for now, it's coming along really nicely.
