My boredom stuff.

Seeing as I tend to use the very advanced method of pen and paper when I'm bored and have no artistic ability whatsoever... I'm bored, my girlfriend is even more bored of me sitting in the corner and showing her these (though she did put one page of sketches on the fridge for some reason)... so I figured I'd bore a wider audience

I tend to just doodle these when bored and then use them for refrence when I'm writing (another boredom habit) so, nothing worth showing off, but I may as well as I waste my life with this notepad

So...

Agamemnon, an Akira-inspired carrier ship with weird weapons pod and even weirder nacelles...

...a shuttle thing which I was annoyed to see matched the new ST shuttles, even if it's curvier...

And for the sake of not going overboard with the size limit...

- The Dauntless; 'Reimagined' (popular word at the moment) Excelsior
- City of Sha Ka Ree; Starbase, orbitting city... umm... thing
- Peoples; I wrote a future-Trek story, I had to figure out what they were wearing...

This is all part of an obsession/story I wrote a while ago and was just inspired by boredom/geeky fun and theres more here. I would seriously love to be able to make these into proper 3d models, but I have neither the time nor drive to learn how.

Though being raised the son of a costume maker I am very tempted to make the uniforms... just for my own amusement and because I like a project. Or I'm a big fat geek, as my ex wife pointed out on Thursday.

Any opinions welcome on the terrible drawings, or good idas/directions if you see any. I may do this out of boredom, but I still want it to be good

Heh, well with my lack of artistic talent I just used others as a base... and that's a wrestler called Raven - used mainly as I needed someone normal looking with long hair

That also gave me the excuse to google pictures of Grace Park and Jane Goldman to use them as a base. And fill my pictures folder.

As for your sketches; I really like the Dauntless. Is it possible to flesh that one out a bit?

I didn't even read that it was supposed to look like an Excelsor, yet that was the absolute first thing that popped into my mind. Especially when I saw the side profile. Wel done.

Cheers I've got a few more of the Dauntless idea somewhere. When I decided to put them up I just snapped as different pics as I could and ended up with one of each. I might get some more up in the next week or so.

That pic was the first of the Excelsior shape I did - most of the previous pics looked more like an FC era verison of this kitbash recently posted. The first version being...

Which is a good thing for me I've done a few odd ones, though have a fondness for the older(ish) style.
