My ball is swollen

I refer, of course, to the little hangy ball on the back of my throat, otherwise known as the uvula.

I accidentally slept with the window open a couple nights ago, and even though it's been really nice during the daytime, it's still been getting very cold at night. I also tend to sleep with my mouth open, so the result has been a sore throat and a swollen uvula. It's currently resting on the back of my tongue and making me gag.

I'm glad I don't have tonsils anymore, otherwise I'd probably be in hell right now.

Drink something really, really cold. That usually helps.

Have a Popsicle or something like that.

I noticed you said in some other thread that you bought cat food. Did you get a new cat? Maybe it turns out you are allergic?

Blister is gone and has been for a while.

Cat is not new. She's been here for 2 years, and I grew up with cats my whole life before I got her.

Well I could suggest something that might help but I'm not going to.

Just get plenty of fruit juice with vitamin C, I find it helps.
