My 1:350 Refit "start up".

Wow. Looks great Mark. How did you get the lights on the NCC 1701 at the end of the Nacelles. An Led inside?

I carefully dremeled out the plastic INSIDE the model where the light would shine then placed the LED strategically alined to light the area. I do not like the other way that is parroted by everyone where they simply mask the area. to me it looks to fake...your milage may vary!

For the glow-in-the-dark AMT kit of TOS Enterprise at 1/650 scale, decals might need to be zip-a-tone/screentone—to let the glow bleed through.

Anyone ever use scotchlite paint?

To this day I have NO IDEA what a Raytheon is/was.
The method for just masking inside the model effect has actually been around for decades. It was pioneered by the Railroad modelers.
