My only regret is that I cannot press "Like" hard enough or more than once. Just. Simply. Gorgeous.
There is one thing I've noticed though, and it's not a knock on your work but (possibly) a comment for whomever vacuum-formed the parts for your model: I keep looking at the "flashlight" forward part of the secondary hull and the housing for the deflector dish assembly. Am I completely off-base here, or is something slightly
off there with the proportions? I can't quite put my finger on it, but I'd swear that either the dish is just
slightly too small in diameter or the conical housing immediately aft of the dish is
slightly too short on the Z-axis (the longitudinal axis running bow-to-stern)?
The only reason I'm fixating on this is that I'm now working on the rebuild of the secondary hull on my own
Enterprise model, so I'm hyper-aware of any deviations from what I'm starting with. I should also note that my model is based on
Alan Sinclair's blueprints from 14 years ago, so it's entirely possible that whoever came up with the dimensions for your model's parts might have more accurate source material than what Alan used for his blueprints.
