Colm Meaney sang 'Can't Help Falling in Love with You' in The Commitments. Does that count?

I saw Charles Napier, the lead hippie in the TOS episode The Way To Eden, sing with some friends of mine who were playing in a local bar. Napier was in town and bar hopping. He came into this tavern drunk and used the fact he was on Star Trek to talk his way on stage. I can't remember what they played together but it was an old rock song like Johnny B. Goode. Napier just sang. He was terrible but then he was also completely smashed.

    Does this count?

The guitarist for Rage. Tom Morello. He was an officer in a Voyager episode. He was also a Son'a Officer on Insurrection. He's a Trekkie

Would Kelsey Grammer count since he sang the theme song of his famous show?

If you want to include Trek actors that were also singers add Robert Picardo to that list. He started out on Broadway.

I'm sure Mike Fleetwood was in TNG?

Robert Picardo has had a couple of albums out I think. Sure a friend of mine picked one up at a convention.

That would only count if that famous show happened to be Star Trek!

Why? I thought we were searching for musicians/musical artist that appeared on a Trek series/film, didn't we? Kelsey Grammer sang the song for his own show and he was on TNG. So why doesn't he count?

What about that very tall British guy who, rumors had it, had dangling balls on an album cover? Mac Streetwood, or something like that. . .

Yeah, sorta like Britney Spears is a good mother. I dig.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned James Darren - Vic Fontaine!

^^^Right you are. Then why hasn't anybody mentioned him?

    Sir Rhosis

:D just in case, that last response sounded very serious. I thought my pluralization "rumors" would give it away.

^ You know those moderators. So serious.

Another non-mention would be Scott Bakula. He does light opera all the time. I bet he has a nice voice.

Ronny Cox. He's a singer when he's not acting. He also performed Dueling Banjos in Deliverence.

James Lee Stanley, a great singer/songwriter was an extra for most of DS9's run. Played a bajoran deputy of Odo's for the most part but also a Romulan, Klingon and many others. If there were singing Klingons, he was probably one of them.
