EDIT: That sounded an awfully lot like bragging. What I meant was, I've never been the kind to go in "cold" on someone. I've never been rejected because I've never approached someone that I hadn't already gotten to know, and basically knew already if they were game or not.

There isn't really a specific song. Everything sounds different when you're snubbed by the one you love. Especially the songs about happy love, which end up sounding cruelly ironic.

It's been ages, and I never thought to even listen to anything to console myself. However, if it happens to me again, I'd probably pick the following tunes.

Damn Skippy! I don't linger...I refuse to! It's terrible but the best cure for the last one is the next one. LOL. That is after I cry a little bit with "one is the lonliest number"...and then you all know...I'm gonna crank up that honk and blow all my troubles away.
