music on mission packs for PC CD-ROM Quake games

I like the music on Quake II and Quake III CD-ROMs (the tracks 2-XX Red Book Audio). A lot of these games do not have their soundtracks on Audio CD for purchase separately but the CD-ROM has redbook audio.

How is the music on :

Quake: The Offering
Aftershock for Quake
Quake Mission Pack No. 1: Scourge of Armagon expansion
Quake Mission Pack No. 2: Dissolution of Eternity
Malice Mission Pack for Quake
Juggernaut: The New Story - Quake II Expansion
Quake II Mission Pack: The Reckoning
Quake II Mission Pack: Ground Zero
Quake 3 Arena Team Mission Pack CD-ROM
Quake 2: Quad Damage
Q!ZONE For Quake
Quake II Netpack 1: Extremities

I can get them used pretty cheap when buying the PC CD-ROM version and I can rip the audio.
Again I can't get the DVD-ROM versions that have multiple games as they won't be able to rip the audio.
and no I'm not looking for audio soundtrack CDs that are "Music From and Inspired By *game name"

I'm looking for music MOST LIKE Quake or Quake 3. (I wasn't that wild about Quake II's music).
less guitar and more electronic, industrial and atmospheric maood
are there any other old mission pack PC CD-ROMs you would recommend that has similar music? Doom or other series?

The actual soundtracks to the music from Quake 1 and its packs were originally released along with the game. You might be able to track one down at a used cd store. Failing that, it is easily available online. And the reason why brings me to my next point:

Trent Reznor (aka Nine Inch Nails) did the music for Quake 1. Much of that work is in the later games, albeit remixed. So any of the add-on packs have only slightly changed versions of much of the music.

Reznor also did the original soundtrack for Doom 3, before conflicting viewpoints on where the music was going drove him away. Having said that, the soundtrack is still available online and there is even a patch to add the original music back into Doom 3.

So the music/style you're looking for is essentially anything Reznor/NiN has done. Ghosts was a 4 cd purely instrumental set, and he also did film soundtracks for The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and The Social Network (which he won an Oscar for). More instrumental work can be found on any NiN album, but the remix albums tend to have more industrial versions of them.

Hope this helps.

the extremities netpack doesn't really have a soundtrack since it's a collection of multiplayer material - map packs, mods, skins, a player model - and not any single-player stuff.

A doom 3 documentary I found. wait till the end Trent talks about his interest.
I have Ghosts I-IV album and wasn't wild about the social network soundtrack stuff he did with Atticus Ross.
