Multiple streams on CBS All Access -- how to kill?

I tried to watch the latest episode again tonight, but was met with a plague of problems with the stream. First, my Amazon Firestick wouldn't start the playback. So, I then switched to streaming it from my laptop. Unfortunately, I started the wrong episode. So, when I finally got to S2E12 on the laptop, I was met with the message "Too many simultaneous streams; please stop one or more to continue playback." However, I couldn't find a way to kill the other streams, since there were no windows open with the stream playing! I rebooted Chrome, rebooted my router, and even rebooted my laptop. No effect. Same message.

Does anyone have any advice? I think part of the problem is I'm still using the archaic Firestick, which is ripe with problems and 9 times out of ten doesn't respond when clicked. Is there a voice Alexa-based device that is better to use? Any help would be appreciated.

No suggestions for voice controlled options, but I suspect you are correct about the Firestick. I use AppleTV, iPad, and a Windows 10 based PC, and have never seen the "too many streams" warning and I have been using CBSAA since they launched.

The Mrs. found that her Firestick was more problems than it was worth and gave up on it within the first three months.
