I've only heard of the macarena, and I certainly did not enjoy that trend. I think I've heard mention of "gangnam style" but I didn't realize it was a dance.

Like KARA, SNSD, etc.

I recall when my brother first introduced me to SNSD with Mr. Taxi I hated him for at least two hours until I found myself humming it. Then I hated him for another four.

Me, either. Never heard of it in my life. If you want annoying dance-pop songs that were so over-played it made you want to harm someone, I would go with Mambo Number Five. That got annoying very fast and didn't go away for a long time.
