Anybody watching Mr. Sunshine besides me? What do you think?

I'm very undecided about the show. It can be a bit funny but a bit boring. I like Matthew Perry a lot, glad he got another show. I like his character of Ben Donovan. I also like Alison Janney's Crystal, in fact I think she is the funniest thing about the show. I also like the actress playing his assistant, she is funny and cute. However the rest of the cast is awful or poorly conceived. I liked Andrea Anders in Better Off Ted but that same thing is tired and out of place here. The character of Alonzo is just plain old boring, actor doesn't bring anything to the character. Really could be just about anyone playing it. The character of Roman is just to much man-child for my liking.

If this show last a season I will be surprised. If it gets renewed I will be even more surprised.

Matthew Perry is funny on the show, but, sadly, he's the only one.

I'm not tunin' into the show when it comes on. Instead, I just go with ABC on Demand - fewer commercials that way.

It's ok, but I find myself wishing Cougar Town was back on instead. The cast and writing don't seem to have gelled, and for a show that's only aired 5 episodes they're relying way too much on stunt casting already.

I'm liking it so far, but there hasn't been much improvement from one episode to another. I find Matthew Perry's character funny and I like Alison Janney. The rest of the cast just aren't that interesting or funny. I think the show is best when it's Perry's character dealing with the other employees. The bit where they wouldn't fix the A/C until he learned all their names, for instance, was a good one. The Roman character is just a bit too unbelievable and rather annoying.

I will continue to watch, at least for a little while longer. The show has great potential, but I think they need to focus more on the the two main leads and the office staff, and let the couple and "man-child" go; they aren't interesting at all.

Jorge Garcia (Lost) was in the pilot/series premiere & showed up again in the A/C episode, the fourth episode.

Nick Jonas (of the Jonas Brothers) was in the second episode of the series.

The fifth episode had the Smurfs (upcomin' movie promotion!!).

The series is nothin' but stunt castin'.

And Matthew Perry.

I like it. I've only seen the first two episodes, but like what I've seen so far. I like Matthew Perry and was thinking about maybe watching it. Then I found out Alison Janney was in it and immediately went looking for it online as I have loved her for years. I think she's brilliant, Matthew Perry's really good and I like her son too but that's about it. Not keen on Andrea Anders' character though and can't stand the guy she's going out with.

Like I said, I've only seen the first two episodes which I enjoyed, but I am hoping that they move out of 'Ben knows what he's doing but everyone else is incompetent' territory in future episodes because that will get old pretty quickly.
