Movies similar to the Borg?

Ed209 in the original Robocop.

But that also happened about every other week with the robot in the 1960s Lost in Space series...

You should also watch Colossus:The Forbin Project (it's on line)

Yeah I really loved ED-209!

If you are looking for a film with a genuinely intelligent AI that will not take any BS from humans...I second the recommendation of Colossus. It's a menacingly cold machine that manages to be both dangerous yet not actually evil or malevolent.

Ok thanks, but is Colosus a low budget film?

The first Resident Evil didn't have what I was looking for.

Does the budget matter? The Voyager episode you referenced was filmed on a TV budget.

Right, that's true! But didn't Voyager have a super high budget for a TV show?

Does anyone know which Resident Evil film has what I'm looking for?

The first one and the sixth one has intelligent A.I. that takes the form of a little girl.

If that's not what you're looking for then I guess it won't be any of them.

Yeah, I saw the little girl, but there weren't really any scenes where the automated security took over. I guess the scene where it attacks the troopers is one.
