Just curious. What do you do when you are in the cinema and the trailer for the film you're trying to avoid comes on while you are waiting to see the film you have paid for? Happens to me all the time.

I look down, eyes closed (looks like I'm praying), and wiggle my ears. For some reason, when I wiggle my ears, the muscles moving creates a white noise. It sounds like when you listen to the shore in a seashell.

If you can't wiggle your ears, just hum a tune. Loud enough to drown out other noises, but not so loud that other patrons worry you're about to blow the place up.
