the role my Scifi loving heart I will always remember is of Mother Abigail in the Stephen King miniseries "The Stand".

Her husband Ossie Davis predeceased her in 2005 and was also an alumnus of the 1994 miniseries, playing Judge Richard Farris.

I wish peace to her family and thank them for sharing their amazing parents with the rest of the world.

In all seriousness, though, she was a great actress and she leaves a great legacy behind. She'll be missed. R.I.P Ruby.
