I was looking at this acticle and found it interesting.

i would like to ask this question did any female member drink during pregnancy.

I proberly had 1 drink when l would go out but after awhile it made me sick so l stopped this habit.

Must have been the hormones playing up

Anyway in alot of studys they say that there is not much that happpens when you drink a little
I know for a fact there can be problems with a baby if you are a heavy drinker and this shows when the baby is born and they are under the effects and have to go through he;;.

Anyway l would love your opinion on this sbject.

Several countries, including the US, advise to completely abstain from alcohol while pregnant. This is because although studies on FASD generally involve mothers who drink heavily, no "safe" level of alcohol has been established for pregnancy. It's been shown that children born to women who stop drinking even late in pregnancy have better outcomes than those who continue to drink throughout their pregnancy.

You also have the women who drink before realizing their pregnant, and considering many women of childbearing age (but not intention) drink, it can happen easily.

If I were ever to become pregnant, I would abstain from alcohol entirely.

I didn't drink alcohol when I was pregnant. I did smoke however but that was before women were told that smoking was a really bad thing to do when pregnant.

I would not intentionally drink while pregnant. I could see a scenario where I have been drinking before I realized I was pregnant, but I don't drink much to begin with.

I'm pondering whether or not to issue an infraction on this. In the meantime, I agree that his posting of one liners in threads can be frustrating and is definitely noncontributory to the thread. However, this kind of reaction doesn't solve the problem. In the future, just put him on ignore.
