Unsure if this means overrated or underrated.
Voted crusher as most OVERRATED. Never liked her character. So. .. bland.
This poll is about underrated characters, I accidently said overrated in the thread title and I have been unable to correct it.

I voted Ezri - most of the others I would say are either quite well rated (Quark, Bashir) or justifiably obscure (Neelix, Travis). I thought Ezri was a great character and well acted, a young lady trying to come to terms with the gift of a symbiont she never asked for. Her interactions with the other cast members were wonderfully done, especially when she'd say something from Jadzias memories that was meant to be comforting but which came across weird and morbid. But I never thought she got much credit at the time, mostly she just got complaining that she was taking up too much of the final season with her introduction and focus episodes.

Changed to phlox. He's incredibly interesting, I probably have a crewman cutler like crush on him in fact.

I don't remember ezri... but Jadzia ... definitely remember her. And her relationship with the klingon. And her spots that go all the way. ..

8 just woke up I think crusher was in my dream trying to fire me. I dunno but she really had a chip on her shoulder

Who cares about the chip if Gates McFadden was in your dreams. Jackpot buddy.

Oops. Not a guy Abaddon. Oh well. But if you can think of how you managed that, please post it. :) Crusher can fire me any day.

------

Is your name from The Saga of Pliocene Exile by Julian May or some other source? Just curious. I realize the name is far older than that, but for me those books always first come to mind when I see Abaddon.

I'd say Beverly, while she played an important part in a dozen plus episodes, the majority of the time her contribution could have come from a rotating series of extras playing the nameless "ship's doctor."

Picard: "How is he doctor?"
Doctor : He'll be fine."
Picard: "Great, I'm glad I walked all the way down here."
